We’ve always been told to ask and it will be given to us. We’ve also been cautioned to be careful what we wish for, and this Black Labrador found out what that meant on this day.
This doggo loved playing with tennis balls, and for him, there’s nothing else like it. Playing with the round, bouncy balls gave him a euphoria that no other toy could.
We think this dog secretly wished he had more whenever he went to bed at night, and one day, it all just came true. He literally got rained on with 300 green tennis balls.
They were from a local tennis instructor who didn’t want to throw away used tennis balls when a dog could benefit from them.
When this Labbie met the tennis instructor, he was given one ball at first. The pet quickly scrambled to get it in his mouth, and then a second ball dropped.
He ran to retrieve it, but then it started raining tennis balls. The sound they produced on the wooden deck was so loud that the dog ran to hide from it.
When he saw that it was literally a shower of tennis balls, he ran back out and checked everything out. He was so overjoyed that we’re surprised he didn’t swallow the ball in his jaws.
We’d love to see what thoughts ran through this dog’s head. It’s possibly something close to what our reaction would be if we won a million dollars or so.
What we saw was a doggo who was in literal heaven, excited to see so many of his favorite bouncy toys around him. There’s not much a dog wants, so this generous gift’s a blessing.
We thank the local tennis instructor for thinking of this doggo. You just made a difference in this canine’s life, and he’ll remember this forever. Thank you!
