Chihuahuas have a bad reputation. They are seen as terrible dogs who are always looking to fight another dog or other people. Just like what we always say, a dog’s behavior isn’t exactly correlated to its breed. Every puppy in the world is a blank slate, and it’s up to us, humans, to teach them how to behave properly.
Granted, they are a bit aggressive, but if raised properly, they can be extremely docile. In fact, in the video below, a chihuahua has proven to the world that they aren’t that terrible. The pup was even willing to fight a bigger dog just to protect a bunch of kittens, of all animals.
We all know that these two species don’t exactly get along well, especially if they do not know each other. The fact that the chihuahua was helping kittens made this video extra special. If you are worried about any animals getting hurt, don’t you worry because it’s pretty evident that the two dogs grew up together, and it was sort of a “play fight?”
The big black dog was pouncing around the bunch of cute kittens whose mother wasn’t around. The black pup wasn’t actually going to hurt the cats, his behavior suggests that he is curious about them and he wanted to play with them. Unfortunately, the chihuahua had other thoughts.
Since the mother cat wasn’t around, the chihuahua thought that he should step in to protect these helpless kitties from his brother’s dog, who looked mischievous at that moment. Despite the size disparity, the chihuahua was fearless! He stood between the black dog and the kittens.
It’s as if he was saying, “If you mess with them, you will have to go through me.” But the black dog was just so excited about the kittens that they kept on bouncing around. This prompted the chihuahua to wrestle him down, and to be fair with the tiny pup, he’s got some moves. See this hero pooch in the funny clip below.
