A poor dog was eventually rescued from frigid temperatures after being repeatedly ignored by passing individuals. Someone finally recognized the dog’s plight and contacted a rescue squad after realizing that it had been seeking assistance for a considerable amount of time.
Mladenovac, a Siberian dog rescue center, was notified about the dog that was living in a drainage pipe that was by the side of the road. The shelter was informed that the dog would exit the pipe and seek assistance if anyone went by. The rescuers understood that the dog might not survive the frigid weather for long, so they quickly began searching for him.
When the rescue squad arrived at the reported location, they discovered snow-covered drainage pipes. The team then discovered paw prints that led to an exposed pipe. When they approached the pipe, the dog exited after realizing someone was standing outside.
When the rescuers examined the pipe, they discovered three puppies who all probably belonged to the dog. But the puppies were too terrified to exit the pipe. The rescuers even attempted to free the puppies by sending their mother back into the pipe, assuming that the youngsters would follow their mother out, but the plan failed.
The rescue crew also attempted to lure the puppies out with food, but they were too young to eat anything. They still were relying on their mom’s milk.
The rescuers tried a technique including a brush and a stick, which ultimately proved effective. When the puppies and their mother emerged, the rescuers rushed them to a nearby veterinary hospital.
After receiving care, the mother dog and her puppies were brought to the shelter, where they received a great meal and a warm place to stay in.
Once the puppies are weaned, all of them and their mother will be up for adoption.
