We all know that persistence can go a long way, but for stray dogs, this is normally not true. Perhaps the only exception to this is this stray dog from Brazil. But like all rescue dogs, he needed a little bit of luck to find his forever home. But this fortunate furball found not only his home, but also a job.
This cutie canine from Brazil always showed up to a local Hyundai dealership. At first, the staff didn’t mind his presence and thought that he would just go away. But he kept on coming back for some reason. Perhaps it is his destiny to be with these hoomans? It turns out that it is.
One rainy evening, the pup sought shelter at the dealership, as he always does. But this time, the showroom manager, Emerson Mariano, felt terrible for the poor pup. So he invited the fur baby inside so that he could be warm. On top of that, he gave him some food and water.
From that point on, Emerson knew that this pooch belongs with them. Since his company is pretty-much pet-friendly, he got permission to adopt the dog and even give him a job at the dealership. They named the pup, Tucson Prime, after the brand’s popular SUV. They even made him a badge with his picture on it.
There are thousands of stray dogs in Brazil, and Tucson can be considered very lucky. Not only did he find a home and new family, but he also found a new purpose in life. Tucson became an unofficial customer service representative for the dealership. But since he can’t talk, he just offers people snuggles.
One may think that this is cliché, but it’s actually very effective. Emerson shared that a survey conducted by a media outlet that covers the local car industry reported that Tucson’s presence boosted their customer service satisfaction. Tucson became so popular that Hyundai Brazil decided to feature him on a national ad campaign.
