As we got wiser and older, we came to realize that not all relationships have happy endings. Sure, some stay with their partners for the rest of their lives, but some end up in an exchange of bittersweet goodbyes.
The worst part about breakups is when there are innocent beings involved. Couples with kids engage in custody battles to determine who gets to raise the kid. As for those who own pets, however, there’s also the debate on who gets to keep the pup.
The vengeful ex-husband
When one man could not seek revenge on his wife, who divorced him, he decided to take out all his anger on their Siberian Husky. He used a chain to tie the pup to a place that lacked shelter and proper water access.
The man had gotten the pup as a present for his wife who left him shortly after they got married. Angered by what his wife did, he decided to hurt his ex-wife by starving the pup to death.
The Siberian Husky barely had any fur on his body when animal rights activists found him. The pup did not resist when they carried him to the car. It’s as if he knew they were there to save him.
A new life for Finn
It took two hours for the activists to reach Pet Angels Rescue in Oklahoma. The Husky slept on the way there. After running some tests, they discovered that aside from being emaciated, he was also suffering from mange and parasites.
Thanks to the volunteers at the shelter, the Husky recovered quickly. He also gained 40 pounds and his fur grew back! People could not believe the Husky’s miraculous transformation. He was no longer the stick-think pup they rescued from his cruel previous owner.
They also named him Finn, and they helped him find his new owners. He’s now with a family that cares for him deeply and makes sure he gets all the love he deserves.
