Ever since Blake was a tiny pup, Kirsteen Marshall and her daughter Tess have showered him with lots of affection and care. Their home in Glasgow, Scotland is always filled with joy and laughter because of the little Shih Tzu. That’s why when the six-year-old dog was stolen, his owners were devastated and very worried about him.
Taken
The abduction happened when Kirsteen brought Blake along to go shopping in the Gorbals area of Glasgow. The dog mom tied her pooch outside a shop while she quickly went in to get something. When she got out a few minutes later, her beloved pet was gone. She was stunned that someone would brazenly take Blake.
She quickly asked around to see if anyone saw anything. She also went to the police to report the matter.
For the next 48 hours, Kirsteen barely stopped looking for her dog. She knocked on doors, talk to shop owners, and kept posting updates about her stolen pooch. She even offered to give a huge reward to anyone who can help find Blake.
She asked for CCTV videos and posted them online. The videos clearly showed the man that took her dog. She compiled all of the footage that she got and got a somewhat clear idea of what happened and where the man went.
Relentless
Her posts quickly went viral, and in just a few hours, they were shared more than ten thousand times. She created a social media army that mounted a lot of pressure on the dog thief. All of them were relentless in their efforts to find Blake.
Knowing that he was about to get caught, the dognapper decided to call Kirsteen.
More than two days after the dog was abducted, the police and the worried dog owner finally went to retrieve Blake. She is so happy to finally get her pooch back and is very grateful to all the people that helped her. Even though they were strangers, they were kind enough to reunite a dog with the family that loves him so much.
