The problem is, our pups don’t always agree with the things that we want to do, even if it’s for their own good. That’s why they misbehave when we take them to the vet, and they act out when we take them home after a nice walk in the park.
Grooming is also a big issue for them. Our puppers don’t like taking baths, and they don’t want people cutting their nails. That’s why this woman from Queensland, Australia came up with a genius life hack that will allow her and her husband to cut their dog’s nails.
Natalie Sweetapple had grown tired of her doggo Daisy refusing to let her cut her nails. So, the dog mom decided to make use of every dog’s weakness — food! Big surprise, right? She used peanut butter to distract her fur baby. Check out the clever life hack in the clip below.
Natalie also used a towel with four holes to hold her baby dachshund up. Daisy’s legs went through the holes, to allow her husband to trim those long and sharp nails. As you can see, Natalie and her husband placed some peanut butter on the wall in front of Daisy, and this was the key element that made this operation a success.
Since the pooch was busy licking the yummy treat right in front of her, Daisy didn’t notice her dad cutting her nails! Because of this video going viral, many dog owners around the world also gave it a shot and it worked for most of them. Maybe you should try it with your doggo too!
