Dogs surely are, without a doubt, one of the most faithful animals. They would stay with their friends, no matter the circumstance.
This heartfelt truth was proved by a group of animal rescue volunteers from Uzhhorod, Ukraine when they witnessed a touching scene between two dogs.
For at least two days, a faithful dog continued to watch and care for his furry friend. It appears that the dog has been injured in some way, probably hit by a train, and is stuck on the railroad tracks.
The fate of the immobilized poor dog was about to end, but her faithful friend did not leave her. Besides, he was brave enough to protect her by bowing his head as the train passed. The extreme cold temperatures made it very difficult for them, as things were not going well anyway.
Denis Malafeyev, one of the rescuers, shared his touching story on Facebook. In his post, he wrote that when they arrive, they saw the female dog was injured and unable to move. Then, they noticed a male dog heading their way when he heard the train approaching. The dog lay down next to his friend. They both put their heads on the ground and let the train pass.
Denis and the other rescuers were amazed upon discovering that the dog was doing this for two days in a row. The male dog kept the female dog warm during those times.
Fortunately, the two dogs were rescued and taken to a local shelter for treatment. The rescuers later found out the dogs’ names to be Panda and Lucy and that they were lost.
The rescuers contacted their owners, letting them know about their pets’ condition. The two dogs were then reunited with their master after Lucy got better.
