An adorable puppy named Finn had to wear a cone of shame for two weeks, and he was not happy about it. Thankfully, his mom has the most creative idea to make him feel better.
Finn and his cone
Dogs hate wearing the cone of shame, and a pup named Finn is no exception. When he was neutered, Finn had to wear the despised cone for two weeks. His mom, Jenn Frates, knew that Finn would be so annoyed to wear the cone, so she looked for ways to comfort him.
As Jenn admits to being a crafty mom, she turned to Pinterest and looked for ideas on transforming Finn’s cone of shame. She found many, so she wasted no time and started the makeover.
Every day, Finn’s cone took a different look. One day, Finn was French fries from McDonald. The next day, he was a chocolate sundae with a cherry on top. Finn’s cone transformations elaborate, and they all made him even cuter.

According to Jenn, she’s in the process of taking stock of all the memories Finn on his first year with lots of cute and funny photos. She figured this would be an excellent way to help Finn get past the two weeks of wearing the cone without taking it too seriously.
If there’s one good thing that wearing the cone brought to Finn, it’s that he knew he’d get treats every day. His mom would ask him to pose for photos for each look, and then she’ll give him treats afterward. Finn, being the good boy he is, would sit still until his mom got the best shots.
Jenn decided to share Finn’s adorable transformations on Facebook, and she’s happy to know that Finn brought lots of smiles to people everywhere. This year has been quite challenging for many of us, and sometimes, a dose of Finn and his cone is all it takes to brighten our day. Thanks for bearing with the cone, Finn!
