Jeremy Eskelsen and his husband, Mike, had always been used to leaving their dogs, Dogma, Harlow, and Lola, alone in the house. They had done this several times in the past, and usually, nothing eventful would happen while they were away. However, they recently found out that this wasn’t always the case.
That day, Jeremy and Mike were out on an errand again, leaving behind the three pups. When the couple got home sometime later, they immediately noticed a huge red streak across their floor. Their first thought was that something bad must have happened to the dogs as they weren’t by the door to greet them like usual, too.
The couple immediately began searching the house for the trio and found all of them hiding in their kennels. Jeremy surveyed the dogs to see if they were hurt. But when he found nothing wrong with them except for their sudden change in color, he realized that they were actually the ones responsible for the giant streak of red on the floor.
The couple scanned the room for clues as to what happened and eventually spotted a large can of chalk line refill dust wedged in a chair. Apparently, the dogs had somehow found their way under the sink and pulled out the bottle. They quickly spread the dust everywhere, including themselves, and turned the whole house into a shade of red.
Mike and Jeremy couldn’t help but double over in laughter at what they had just discovered. But to their dismay, this wasn’t the end of the trio’s hilarious feat. After spreading the dust, they proceeded to pee in it and walk all over the house with the paste-like mixture.
As if that wasn’t enough, Lola, Harlow, and Dogma even pulled out some metal and wood polish creams and waxes to play with, too. The couple then put the dogs in their crates. It was quite safe to say that it took the couple forever to clean and remodel the house. But despite the extra work they had to put in, they wouldn’t trade the trio for anything in the world. Look at the finished product of the pups’ mischievous stunt here.
